拜耳公司於2001年併購安萬特公司的農作物保護業務，2002年以德國孟瀚 ( Monheim )為總部，成立拜耳作物科學股份有限公司，居全世界作物保護公司領導地位。

2009年全球營業額為65億歐元，全球約有18,700名員工，目前在台擁有33名員工。

After the acquisition of Aventis CropScience in 2001 the local Bayer and Aventis crop science activities were integrated in 2002 in Bayer CropScience Co., Ltd.
